Pumpkin carving

This will be a pumpkin carving workshop in the cricket pavilion and under gazebos outside on Thursday afternoon 1-3pm with Zoe. £2 per child. Adults free. Please book for this if you can fiona@cholseycdt.org.uk tel 07763750740

Please bring your pumpkin (we will have some for purchase on the day and also at the costume making event on Monday 31st), sharp serrated knives which work best for pumpkin carving, and you might want a cushion to sit on. Children must be supervised by an adult. Zoe will provide templates and instructions and show us how to carve safely.

Bring your pumpkin with you to the procession on Friday 1 November in your costume, and when we arrive at Cholsey Meadows you can bring your pumpkin to the story telling tent so that we have lots of pumpkin lanterns lighting the space. Pick up your lantern at the end of the evening to enjoy at home!

Final youth cricket: Sunday 6th Oct 2-6pm

Date: 3rd October 2013

The Cholsey Cricket Club has had a fantastic season at Cholsey Meadows. The BBQs and a chance for adults to relax and unwind over a beer has been as popular as the youth cricket coaching. The cricket season is now drawing to a close and the cricket club is arranging a final barbecue, bar and youth coaching session at the cricket ground on Sunday afternoon 6th October. Everybody is welcome….. with or without youths!!

The bar will be open from 2-15pm and the youth coaching will start at 2-30pm. The barbecue will be from 4pm to around 6pm. The BBQ is good quality meat purchased from Ray Parks of Cholsey.

A range of wines, beers, soft drinks and crisps can be bought from our bar, all at reasonable club prices.
