Date: 26th July 2013

The MP Ed Vaisey planted a tree in honour of half of the Cholsey Meadows' Soha housing now completed. Bill Nicholls has done an excellent photo record of the day on his Forgotten FairMile blog.

Holiday games for young and young at heart

Date: 25th July 2013

On Thursday 25 July 2-5pm we have an afternoon of fun games for everyone. There will be a bouncy castle, big floater ball, giant bubbles, parachutes, stomp rockets and big board games like Ludo. Everyone can have a go at playing croquet. We will also be creating our own badges, and making personalised mirrors and key rings at a craft stall. Refreshments will include cream teas and ice cream. All welcome for a relaxing afternoon on the cricket pitch. This is a joint event run by Cholsey Community Development Trust and Cholsey 1000 Plus. All activities are free but there will be a small charge to cover costs of the craft materials and refreshments. There is a special lucky dip draw to win amazon vouchers for anyone aged 14 to 20 who helps out with the games on the day. Helpers start at 1:30 to set up games. Teenagers please contact fiona@cholseycdt.org.uk so I know how many are coming.
